Cancellation & Late Policy

I deeply value your time — and I ask that you value mine in return. This policy exists to ensure that appointment slots are available to all clients and that preparation time is respected. Please read this policy carefully before booking.
Booking deposit: A non-refundable $150 booking deposit is required at the time of scheduling to reserve your appointment. This deposit is not an additional charge — it is applied in full toward the cost of your treatment at the time of your visit.
The deposit will be forfeited in the event of a late cancellation or no-show as described below.
Cancellation & rescheduling
More than 48 hours notice: No fee. Cancel or reschedule online at www.mercedesbaez.com or contact us at hello@mercedesbaez.com at no charge.
Less than 48 hours notice: $150 fee for Treatments and $50 fee for Consultations. Cancellations within 48 hours must be made by contacting us directly — online self-cancellation will not be accepted within that window.
No-show: Full appointment fee charged to the card on file. By reserving an appointment, you authorize this charge in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.
No-show policy: A no-show is defined as failing to attend a scheduled appointment without any prior notice. In the event of a no-show, the full appointment fee will be charged to the card on file. The $150 booking deposit will not be applied toward a future appointment in the event of a no-show. Clients with two or more no-shows may be required to prepay in full for future appointments or may be declined future bookings at my discretion.
Late arrival policy: I kindly ask that you arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment to check in and complete any required intake forms. This helps ensure your full treatment time is protected. If you arrive more than 7 minutes late, I may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment to avoid impacting the next client. In that case:
If your appointment can be completed in the remaining time, it will proceed as scheduled.
If rescheduling is necessary due to your late arrival, this will be treated as a late cancellation and the applicable fee will apply.
I will always do my best to accommodate you, and I appreciate your understanding.
Exceptions: I understand that life happens. Documented medical emergencies or extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to me directly at hello@mercedesbaez.com as soon as possible if you are experiencing an emergency that affects your appointment.
Refinements: Your $150 booking deposit applies in full toward the cost of your treatment, including any refinement performed during your visit. Refinement appointments are subject to the same cancellation and late arrival policies described above.
Changes to this policy: This policy may be updated at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply. Please review this page before scheduling your appointment.
